Key Responsibilities

• Perform 3D modeling and production design for shipbuilding and plant projects, including Hull Structure, Piping, E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation), and Steel Outfitting
• Perform 3D modeling of equipment, piping, cable trays, structures, and related components
• Create, modify, and maintain 3D models in accordance with project requirements
• Perform clash checks and identify interferences within 3D models
• Support access and maintenance studies for equipment and facilities
• Prepare 2D production drawings based on 3D models, including piping ISO, arrangement, spool, pipe support, equipment foundation, platform, ladder, handrail, cable tray, and E&I support drawings
• Prepare hull structure, module assembly, installation, fabrication, assembly, and other production drawings
• Support the preparation of MTO (Material Take-Off) and BOM (Bill of Materials)
• Support the preparation of work packages for fabrication, assembly, and installation
• Perform other production design-related duties as required

Qualifications

1) Entry-Level

• Associate degree or higher in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, CAD/Design, or a related field
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software
• Ability to perform 3D modeling and prepare 2D drawings
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings and design documentation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

2) Experienced

• Experience in production design for hull structure and/or outfitting disciplines, including piping, E&I, and steel outfitting, within shipbuilding, offshore, plant, or EPC industries
• Experience in 3D modeling and production design
• Ability to prepare production drawings for hull structures, piping, E&I, steel outfitting, equipment, or related disciplines
• Ability to generate and prepare 2D drawings based on 3D models
• Ability to perform material quantity take-offs and prepare related drawings
• Ability to review engineering drawings and related design documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in detailed design within relevant disciplines
• Understanding of Classification Society Rules and international standards
• Experience in LNG-related projects or industries
• Experience in 3D modeling within shipbuilding, offshore, plant, or EPC industries
• Experience with FORAN, AM, Tribon, AVEVA E3D / PDMS, Smart 3D, or other relevant 3D engineering design software
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Experience preparing production drawings for hull structures, piping, E&I, steel outfitting, equipment, or related disciplines
• Experience preparing MTO and BOM
• Experience preparing work packages for fabrication, assembly, and installation
• Possession of relevant CAD, design, or engineering certifications
• English communication skills
