Key Responsibilities
- Review project specifications and clarify any deviations with the client.
- Prepare and review method statements (MS), work procedures, instructions, and inspection and test plans (ITPs) in accordance with project specifications.
- Perform receiving inspections of mechanical equipment, including structural steel.
- Conduct field installation inspections for mechanical equipment at overseas project sites.
- Coordinate inspections among subcontractors, clients, and project management consultants (PMCs).
- Manage subcontractors’ local inspectors and third-country national (TCN) inspectors.
- Monitor inspection activities and report the inspection status to management and the client.
- Supervise and control subcontractors’ quality activities.
- Issue and approve non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective action reports (CARs), and review quality trend analyses.
- Control subcontractors’ inspection, measuring, and test equipment (IMTE).
- Manage QA documentation, inspection records, and turnover dossiers at overseas project sites.
Qualifications
- Experience in mechanical equipment installation inspection at overseas project sites.
- Knowledge of project specifications, method statements, work procedures, and ITPs.
- Experience coordinating with subcontractors, clients, and PMCs.
- Experience supervising inspectors and subcontractors’ quality activities.
- Familiarity with NCRs, CARs, inspection records, QA documentation, and turnover dossiers.
