Key Responsibilities
- Manage project cost control activities including budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting.
- Track and analyze project costs (materials, labor, subcontractors, and equipment) and report variances.
- Identify cost trends, potential overruns, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare cost reports, dashboards, and cash flow forecasts for management review.
- Review and assess cost impacts of contracts, change orders, and purchase orders.
- Coordinate closely with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance teams on cost-related matters.
- Ensure proper documentation and control of all project financial data.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Cost Controller in EPC, LNG, onshore/offshore, or FSRU projects.
- Proven experience in project cost tracking, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Experience in preparing and analyzing cost forecasts, cash flows, and earned value reports.
- Hands-on experience coordinating with project managers, engineers, procurement, and finance teams for cost management.
- Experience reviewing contracts, change orders, and procurement documents for cost impact and alignment with budget.
- Familiarity with project management systems, cost control methodologies, and reporting standards.
- Prior exposure to multi-disciplinary engineering and construction projects with responsibility for accurate cost documentation and traceability.
