Key Responsibilities
- Manage site procurement and logistics for local purchases, rentals, services, and consumables under GET procedures.
- Control site material receiving, storage, issuance, and reconciliation; maintain material traceability records.
- Coordinate import/shipping deliveries with HQ procurement and freight forwarders; support customs/clearance follow-up.
- Execute RFQs for local subcontract services and rentals (cranes, scaffolding, transport) and support bid evaluations.
- Manage vendor/subcontractor documentation required for site acceptance (CoC, test certificates, packing lists).
- Monitor critical materials for construction workfronts and proactively expedite shortages.
- Support subcontractor invoicing and procurement close-out documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in procurement, material management, logistics, or supply chain functions within EPC, LNG, offshore, onshore plant, shipbuilding, or large-scale industrial projects.
- Proven experience in site procurement, including local purchasing, subcontract services, equipment rentals, and consumables.
- Strong experience in material receiving, storage, issuance, inventory control, reconciliation, and material traceability at construction or project sites.
- Experience coordinating international shipments, freight forwarding, import documentation, customs clearance, and delivery to project sites.
- Proven ability to manage RFQs, commercial bid evaluations, purchase orders, service orders, and subcontractor/vendor coordination.
- Experience managing and expediting critical materials and equipment in line with construction schedules and workfront priorities.
- Familiarity with vendor and subcontractor documentation, including Certificates of Conformity (CoC), test certificates, packing lists, delivery documentation, and material records.
- Experience reviewing and supporting vendor/subcontractor invoices, procurement documentation, and project close-out activities.
- Strong understanding of EPC procurement procedures, material control processes, HSE requirements, and quality standards.
- Strong communication, negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with site teams, HQ procurement, logistics providers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Proficiency in ERP/procurement systems and Microsoft Office; experience with SAP or similar systems is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural project site environment.
