Position Overview

GasEntec, a global leader in LNG infrastructure and EPC, is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our engineering division through a critical phase of hyper-growth and transformation.

This is a dual-mandate role: You will serve as the Strategic Architect of our technology roadmap while simultaneously acting as the Primary Technical Authority for project execution. We require a leader who combines high-level strategic vision with the willingness and capability to engage directly in complex engineering challenges.

Key Responsibilities

1.  Engineering Governance & Technical Execution

• Technical Authority: Serve as the final approver for critical design milestones, ensuring all engineering deliverables meet global standards for safety, operability, and cost-efficiency.
• Active Problem Solving: Directly intervene in high-priority projects to resolve technical bottlenecks, mitigate risks, and ensure schedule adherence.
• Standardization: Establish and enforce company-wide engineering standards, specifications, and workflows to transition from ad-hoc execution to a scalable, systematic engineering model.

2. Strategic Technology Leadership

• Innovation & IP: Define and execute the R&D strategy to secure proprietary technologies and patents in FSRU, LNG, and Green Energy sectors, enhancing enterprise valuation.
• Digital Transformation: Lead the adoption of advanced engineering tools and digitalization strategies to optimize project delivery and operational efficiency.

3. Organizational Leadership & Development

• • Team Building: Restructure and mentor the engineering organization, fostering a culture of technical excellence and accountability.
  • Commercial & Project Partnership: Partner with the CCO and CPO to provide technical leadership during critical bidding, contract negotiation, and execution phases.

Qualifications

• Experience: 20+ years of progressive engineering experience in the LNG, EPC, or Energy Infrastructure sector, with a proven track record in both technical execution and executive leadership.
• Technical Depth: Profound knowledge of the full project lifecycle (FEED, Detailed Design, Commissioning) with specific expertise in Process, Mechanical, or Marine Engineering.
• Operational Agility: Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Must be willing to take a hands-on approach to leadership, driving results directly rather than solely through delegation.
• Communication: Fluent in English, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to foreign investors, clients, and cross-functional stakeholders.
