Position Overview

Project Director is responsible for leading and overseeing the successful execution of EPC and large-scale industrial projects throughout the full project lifecycle. This role involves managing multidisciplinary engineering, procurement, and construction teams while ensuring effective coordination with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

The Project Manager ensures project objectives related to scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety are achieved through structured project management practices, disciplined documentation, and proactive risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
• Excellent project planning, progress monitoring, and coordination skills using project management tools and methodologies.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities for client interface, contractor coordination, and issue resolution.
• High-level competency in reviewing project documents such as project execution plans, risk registers, MoMs, and progress reports.
• Ability to manage scope, schedule, cost, and change control with full traceability and documentation discipline.
• Strong problem-solving and risk management skills, including identification of project risks and implementation of mitigation actions.
• Ability to lead milestone meetings, technical reviews, and decision workshops, ensuring all actions are documented and closed out.

Qualifications

• Engineering related Bachelor Degree required
• Minimum 15 years of experience in project management for EPC, offshore conversion, LNG, onshore plant, or large industrial projects.
• Proven experience managing full project lifecycle including engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Demonstrated capability in managing project budgets, schedules, and change orders with clear justification and documentation.
• Experience leading coordination with clients, classification societies, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Experience resolving technical, commercial, and contractual issues in fast-track or multi-stakeholder project environments.
