Key Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical engineering team and oversee electrical design activities for marine and offshore projects.
• Manage engineering schedules, resource allocation, and the quality of design deliverables.
• Oversee the preparation and review of single-line diagrams, electrical load analyses, wiring diagrams, electrical equipment layouts, and navigation light arrangements.
• Perform and review electrical calculations, including load flow, short-circuit analysis, voltage drop, cable sizing, and protection coordination studies.
• Review vendor drawings and technical documentation, and resolve technical issues related to electrical equipment.
• Lead technical coordination with shipyards, classification societies, equipment vendors, clients, and other engineering disciplines.
• Ensure electrical designs comply with applicable marine regulations, international standards, and project requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to team members and support installation, testing, and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive electrical design experience in marine, shipbuilding, or offshore projects.
• Experience as an Electrical Engineering Team Leader or Lead Engineer.
• Strong understanding of marine electrical power distribution and lighting systems.
• Familiarity with applicable IEC and IEEE standards, SOLAS requirements, and classification society rules.
• Ability to manage engineering priorities, guide team members, and coordinate across disciplines.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Electrical design experience in offshore or shipbuilding projects is strongly preferred.
• Experience with LNG carriers, FSRUs, LNG terminals, or offshore platforms.
• Experience leading technical discussions and design approvals with shipyards and classification societies.
• Experience in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and sea trials.
• Experience in developing engineering standards and improving team capabilities.
