Key Responsibilities
- Perform anti-corrosion engineering and coating design for FSRU Conversion, LNG Terminal, Offshore, and Marine projects.
- Review and develop coating specifications, painting procedures, and corrosion protection requirements.
- Perform Cathodic Protection (CP) system design review and engineering evaluations.
- Conduct corrosion assessments and material selection reviews.
- Review vendor documents, technical specifications, and engineering deliverables.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, classification societies, and project disciplines regarding corrosion protection requirements.
- Prepare coating MTOs (Material Take-Offs) and engineering documents.
- Support construction, fabrication, commissioning, and site technical queries related to coating and corrosion protection.
- Ensure compliance with applicable international codes, standards, and classification society requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in anti-corrosion, coating, or cathodic protection engineering.
- Experience in Offshore, Marine, Shipbuilding, LNG, Oil & Gas, or EPC projects.
- Familiarity with coating systems, corrosion protection methodologies, and industry standards.
- Ability to review and prepare technical documents and specifications.
- Good communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in FSRU, LNG Carrier, LNG Terminal, Offshore Platform, or Shipbuilding projects.
- Experience with Cathodic Protection (CP) design and evaluation.
- Familiarity with classification society requirements (ABS, DNV, LR, BV, KR, etc.).
- NACE / AMPP / CIP certification or equivalent is preferred.
- EPC project experience is highly desirable.
