Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic HR Business Partnering

  • Partner with senior leadership to support people strategies aligned with business and global priorities
  • Provide advisory support on organization design, workforce planning, talent management, and change initiatives
  • Drive execution of performance management, talent reviews, and succession planning processes
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on employee relations and organizational matters
  • Support the continuous improvement of HR policies, processes, and governance frameworks

2. Compensation, Benefits & HR Operations

  • Own and manage annual compensation processes including salary review, bonus, and incentive programs
  • Oversee monthly payroll operations ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Support workforce cost planning, HR budget tracking, and headcount management
  • Coordinate compensation benchmarking and market analysis with regional/global stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with Korean labor law while aligning with global HR standards

3. Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Support day-to-day management and development of the HR/GA team
  • Collaborate closely with global HR teams on policies, systems, and initiatives
  • Build effective working relationships with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Facilitate coordination between HR, Finance, and other departments

4. Employee Relations & Organizational Culture

  • Serve as a key point of contact for employee relations, including grievances, investigations, and conflict resolution
  • Ensure fair, consistent, and compliant handling of HR matters
  • Support Labor-Management Committee (LMC) activities and internal communication where applicable
  • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and organizational culture programs

5. Learning & Development

  • Coordinate with regional L&D teams to support leadership and capability development programs
  • Support onboarding and new hire integration initiatives
  • Assist in identifying development needs and supporting relevant training programs

6. Global HR Systems & Projects

  • Support the operation and enhancement of global HR systems (Performance Management, HRIS, e-Learning)
  • Participate in regional/global HR projects and process improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to HR reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision-making

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, with solid exposure across the full employee lifecycle
  • Proven hands-on experience in Compensation & Benefits, including payroll, salary review, and incentive programs
  • Strong knowledge of Korean labor law and employee relations practices, with the ability to apply them in a practical business context
  • Experience working in multinational or globally connected environments, with the ability to collaborate across regions and cultures
  • Strong business and HR acumen, with the ability to analyze issues, identify solutions, and execute effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at multiple levels within the organization
  • Solid experience in HR operations, compliance, and policy implementation, ensuring consistency and governance
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment, with the ability to manage ambiguity while maintaining operational excellence
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a practical and hands-on approach
  • Experience in HR data analysis and reporting, with proficiency in Excel; experience with tools such as Power BI is a plus
  • Strong project management and execution capabilities, with attention to detail and ownership mindset
  • Fluent in Korean and English, both written and spoken
